Quick Instructions

1. The goal is to eliminate all (144) tiles from the board by pairing them up until no more remain.

2. The tiles begin arranged in stacks with their decorated sides face-up, often with multiple tiers visible at the start. Different games can have different layouts.

3. You can only remove matching pairs of tiles at a time, gradually revealing lower stacks as you make matches. Tiles can only be matched if they are not locked. The definition of locked differs for each specific game.

4. To win, you must empty the entire board of tiles by pairing them all up before the timer runs out, which is usually around 10 minutes.

  • The goal of solitaire is to move all cards from the stock and tableau piles into the four foundation piles in order by suit from Ace to King.
  • When Aces appear, move them to start the foundations.
  • Only face-up tableau cards can be moved. Move cards of opposite color and one rank lower onto other cards. Move sequences together.
  • Kings can fill empty tableau columns. No other cards but Kings can be placed into empty columns.
  • Turn over stock cards to the waste pile three at a time. Move waste cards to foundations or tableau if they fit.
  • You win when all cards are built onto the foundations.
