Unlike other symbols, winning combinations of the gorilla can start from either the left or right side, and I saw a higher rate of wins from this character as a result.
Wild and Special Features
An unusual feature of Amazon Queen is that two versions of the wild symbol can appear, each with different powers.
- The standard wild is the jungle waterfall that can only land on the 3 middle reels, but acts as any other symbol, apart from the Queen to help complete or improve wins.
- If the Queen partially covers a playing card suit symbol, she can also substitute for other examples of the same type, but this doesn’t apply to higher value fruit or animal icons.
I saw the regular wild far more often than the Queen version, but acting as card suit symbols isn’t her only power. If she stops in any 3 places at once, your reward is 10 free spins, with any 4 or 5 of these feature symbols unlocking 25 and a huge 100 free games respectively.
